Off the Wall News: Party crasher runs from police, gets hit by two freight trains

FARMINGTON, Utah — A 29-year-old woman who was an unwanted guest at a party, then tried to evade police and was hit by two freight trains, appeared for her first court appearance on charges related to the party and the crash.Bonnie Jean Stroud, who had visible bruises on her arms from the crash, is charged with one count of failure to stop at the command of police, a third-degree felony; two counts of assault, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, and one count of reckless driving, all class B misdemeanors; and, one count of no valid driver's license/never obtaining a license, a class C misdemeanor.The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 13 in Woods Cross.During Monday's hearing, Judge Michael Allphin ordered Stroud to have no contact with several people at the party.
