A 26-year-old Johnson City man was charged Thursday with forging stolen checks.
According to Johnson City police, Brandon Keith Ollis, 323 Grand View Extension, was charged with forgery over $500, three counts of forgery under $500, theft of property over $500 and three counts of theft of property under $500.
Police said Ollis’ arrest came after a victim reported that several of his checks had been stolen, forged and passed at the Fort Sill National Bank in side Walmart, 3111 Browns Mill Road, on July 20.
Ollis was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on a $16,000 bond awaiting arraignment.
