ELIZABETHTON – Two men were arrested Wednesday by the Elizabethton Police Department on drug charges following an investigation into the possible sale of drugs at a Jordan Road home.
Wyatt E. Penrod, 22, 1002 Jordan Road, was charged with possession of schedule I and schedule VI drugs for resale, possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for the distribution of a controlled substance.
Jacob Deutschmann, 20, 120 Mountain Hollow Court, was charged with simple possession of schedule VI drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrests came following the execution of a search warrant. During the course of the search, officers located "quantities" of marijuana, along with cash and several firearms in the house.
Both men were taken too the Carter Count Detention Center and are scheduled to answer the charges in Sessions Court on April 1.
