Johnson City police arrested a Lafollette man on Thursday who was shot in the leg Wednesday night while allegedly burglarizing a house at 104 White Way Drive in north Johnson City.

According to a news release, Lam Duc Nguyen Hoang, 27, 2221 Jack Borough Pike, Lafollette, was charged with aggravated burglary and theft.

Police said Hoang was arrested after he broke into a residence and stole items. Hoang was taken to Johnson City Medical Center and held overnight. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center Thursday and was being held on a $51,000.00 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned today at 9 a.m. in Sessions Court.
