ELIZABETHTON – Compact discs containing the New Testament were among the items stolen from a pickup parked at the residence of Pattie Jenkins on Summer Rose Drive in Johnson City, police said.
Jenkins told Deputy Michele Meade of the Carter County Sheriff’s Department that the burglary must have occurred between the hours of 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
In addition to stealing the compact discs, Jenkins said the thief also stole a Garmin global positioning system.
