Elizabethton firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in the 600 block of Orchard Road.
Smoke was reportedly pouring out of the house as firefighters arrived on scene.
Emergency radio traffic indicated a woman was trapped in the house and that neighbors were attempting rescue. Firefighters have reported, though, that no one is trapped in the building as of 4:50 p.m.
