Johnson City police say a woman bit her 5-year-old daughter's buttocks in anger, resulting in her arrest on a felony child abuse charge Tuesday.Genavive Garner Stubblefield, 26, 2421 Huffine Circle, turned herself in at the Washington County Detention Center.Police and the Tennessee Department of Children's Services initiated the investigation Jan. 26, finding that the child had teeth marks on her buttocks. The child told investigators that her mother had gotten angry and bit her. Stubblefield later admitted to the assault, saying she had used the bite as a means of discipline, police said.Charged with one count of felony child abuse and neglect, Stubblefield was held in the Detention Center on $5,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Thursday.
