A traffic stop led Johnson City police to arrest two men Monday on drug charges.
Jessie D. Pate, 35, 605 Carter Sells Road, was charged with two counts of sale of crack cocaine.
Lamont Fortune, 31, 232 Rock House Road, was charged with possession of crack cocaine for resale and resisting arrest.
Fortune, a passenger in Pate’s vehicle, had more than an ounce of crack cocaine, police said in a news release.
Both men were jailed in the Washington County Detention Center pending Sessions Court appearances today. Pate's bond was $20,000. Fortune's bond was $11,000.
