Austin Whitehead, CloudlandWinning the honor for a second straight week, the Highlanders’ sophomore QB collected 427 all-purpose yards and accounted for five TDs. He rushed 35 times for 319 yards and three TDs in a 45-21 whipping of Unaka.Adam Mitchell, Tennessee HighBreaking his own school record set last year, the senior had 190 yards receiving and four TDs (25, 80, 8 and 41 yards) on just five catches. All of those stats came in the first half of a 46-3 win over Sullivan Central. Peyton Henley, Tennessee HighAlso playing just 24 minutes of game action against Central, the Vikings’ senior QB connected on 12 of 14 passes for 292 yards. Five of those tosses went for TDs, and Henley had no interceptions.Malik McGue, Science HillIt was a losing effort in a 64-38 decision against Siegel, but the junior QB had 363 yards of total offense. McGue rushed for 153 yards on 22 carries and completed 22 of 46 passes for 210 yards and three TDs.Austin Anderson, UnakaThe Rangers came up short against Cloudland, but the senior linebacker had a massive effort. He totaled 24 tackles while also rushing for 82 yards and two scores on 11 carries at running back.
