An East Chilhowie Avenue woman fired shots into her own home Wednesday, nearly hitting two relatives, police said in a news release.
Allison C. Albritton, 51, was arrested on Interstate 26 after the shooting at 913 E. Chilhowie Ave.
Police said a domestic altercation occurred at the East Chilhowie Avenue residence, and Albritton fired three shots into her residence, nearly striking two people related to her. Albritton fled from the house, but patrol officers stopped her a short distance away on I-26.
Albritton was charged with two counts of domestic aggravated assault. She was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $50,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
