Johnson City police on Monday arrested a man wanted in Southwest Virginia.
Glenn Adkins, 37, 26 Poinsetta Lane, Bridge Station, Va., was arrested after the Lee County Virginia Sheriff’s Office tipped Johnson City police about his whereabouts, police said in a news release.
Lee County told police Adkins had an active violation of probation warrant resulting from manufacture controlled substance and conspiracy charges, according to the release.
Charged locally with being a fugitive from justice, Adkins was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center pending a Sessions Court appearance Tuesday.
